Foremost an innovative and imaginative individual with vast experience in marketing and brand strategy. Alex’s experience and sense of aesthetics have been invaluable in creating, developing and implementing our marketing strategy.

Alex has been developing and running campaigns since he was 12. His enthusiasm for the not-for-profit sector and his well-rounded business knowledge has added value to many enterprises.

After hours, when he’s not designing or planning, Alex interests include – sustainable living, music and creative challenges.

Asia Chetouani: Safeguarding Development Director

“I support by unlocking potential.”

An original founding member of Voluntary Action Harrow, Asia holds numerous responsibilities including, training co-ordination and processing Disclosure & Barring Service applications. Asia is part of the Safeguarding Outreach team for the Harrow Safeguarding  Strategic Partnership, delivering safeguarding training to the community, voluntary, faith and private sector.

As a former member of the local safeguarding board, she is responsible for managing and delivering safeguarding training to Voluntary, Community and Faith sector groups.

Out of the office, Asia enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Diana has an AAT Professional Diploma Level 4 and keeps our accounts in check and helps process Disclosure & Barring Service applications.  Diana also helps local charities and organisations with their accounts and year end financial statements and also shows them the best practice and tools they can use to keep their own record keeping up to date.

When she’s not working, Diana could probably be found swimming in any body of water available.

With a career helping charities of all sizes with their strategy, fundraising and marketing, both in national infrastructure organisations and front line, Ros is tasked with developing Harrow Giving’s reach – establishing it as the charity of choice for supporting the local community. 

Outside VAH, Ros is a longtime Harrow resident, active volunteer, ever-hopeful gardener and aspiring children’s author.

“I support health related programmes and volunteering, and I am committed to making a difference for a healthier Harrow.”

Oky started her charity journey with Oasis Charitable Trust in 2009, working with numerous projects nationally. Locally, she worked for a Trussell Trust Foodbank, St Luke’s Hospice and managed a Social Prescribing Service. She has over a decade of experience in the business sector, including fashion and greetings card publishing. Oky is passionate about young people’s welfare and volunteered as a parent governor for over 7 years at a local secondary school. She is so grateful to all the volunteers in the UK and she believes without them this country would freeze!

In her spare time, she enjoys nature and goes camping whatever the weather. Learning languages on Duolingo has been part of her daily routine and she recommends this to everyone who is wishing to improve their memory.

“I support through informing, empowering and strengthening local voice ”

Liz has over fifteen years experience in the charity and not-for-profit sector, working successfully in campaigns that have included challenging cuts to deaf children’s services, raising awareness of brain injury in the UK and fighting for the rights indigenous communities in the Global South.

Passionate about social justice and empowering people whose voices often go unheard, Liz is responsible for supporting, promoting and developing campaigns in Harrow through our Campaign Support Service, with a particlar focus on minority and disadvantaged communities.

“I support through creating visual images to highlight the amazing work of local residents”

Katherine has experience working with a local mental health charity where she raised awareness for children and young people’s mental health through marketing, communications and outreach. Katherine will be using her creativity and initiative to create and highlight the stories of the local community and voluntary sector supported by Harrow Giving. 

Outside of the office, Katherine is often out cycling or teaching others how to ride, and enjoys working on her latest crochet or knitting project with a warm cup of tea.

Rachel has extensive experience in project coordination and a strong background in developing effective systems and structures within the voluntary and public sector. She’s responsible for quality systems and operational business development. She supports organisations with governance, fundraising and partnerships.

Rachel is a founder and director of Harrow Together, a consortium set up to bring organisations together to work in partnership as well as oversee the Harrow Givings grant process. 

Rachel has a Diploma in Fundraising from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
